White Hot

Follow
If you're like me (and somehow drop whatever is in your hands all the time) then I imagine wearing an all white outfit might be something you would dread. But I am here to tell you it is definitely worth it. If an all black look is chic and classical, then an all white look is fresh and stylish.
Probably my favourite summer purchase of this year so far has been my Vila White Biker Jacket, £60 available from Asos. It's such a versatile piece and takes the edge off an outfit that could be a bit too dressy.
I've paired it with my Lusi Asymmetric Zip Detail Mini Skirt in White, £15 from Missguided and a simple white vest top.

If you're thinking of going for an all white outfit have a look at my Bondi Sands post about topping up your tan!

Would you dare to go all white? Let me know your thoughts xx

Missguided Payday Wishlist | June

...
Here are my top picks from Missguided for June.
I'm definitely feeling a quite neutral vibe at the moment and I tend to wear a lot of white in the summer, but check out the bandeau dress in the blue porcelain print, I am in love!

Bondi Sands

Living in the not-so-sunny UK doesn't really do much in terms of keeping you brown. I'm actually part Italian, and my whole family has olive skin that tans really easily, but there is always that voice in the back of my head telling me that, despite loving being in the sun, it is so, so bad for my skin in the longterm!
And that's why I've always used various self-tanners.
My tanning routine now revolves around 2 key Bondi Sands products, the Self Tanning Foam in Dark (£14.99 for 200ml) and the Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk (£11.99 for 375ml).

My Skincare Routine

Follow
I thought I would do a post on my current skincare routine because I've managed to find a combination of products that really work for me, and have made my skin almost completely clear.
In terms of makeup, I wear it almost every single day and as I got a bit older I realised that it didn't matter how good my foundation and concealers were in covering up blemishes, I needed to deal with caring more for my skin in the first place. That is when Liz Earle products were introduced to me by a friend.

Summer Wedding Guest Dress-code

Follow

Summer brings in good weather and lots and lots of weddings! As with every transition from the Spring/Summer season in fashion there is always a massive choice of beautiful flowing and floral print dresses that are perfect as occasion-wear.
Here's a run-down of my recent outfit I wore to a beautiful countryside wedding evening-do, and some alternatives that cater to different locations/dress-codes.
The dress I ended up going with was this gorgeous Bloomsbury Floral Dress by Vlabel London, £75. I accessorised with a diamante twist bracelet from River Island, £10, which I wore as an upper arm cuff to add a bit more interesting detail to the outfit.
I chose to keep my jewellery and accessories rather simple because the beautiful print on the dress is quite soft and could easily be overshadowed by lots of glam.
Shoes-wise these taupe faux-suede cage heels from Missguided (no longer available on their website) are the perfect accompaniment, I've put some links to some alternatives below.
