Holiday Bag Beauty Essentials

Follow

I am craving a holiday so badly, and as so many of you are lucky enough to be travelling somewhere a bit more exotic this summer you might be wondering what to take with you in your bag.
When trying to decide there's definitely different factors to think about. For me, I want to be able to take products that are going to look after my hair and skin, especially because I'm a bit of a sun worshipper and love travelling to hot countries! The Sudocrem Skin Care Cream is really great for keeping skin moisturised after a long day in the sun but also for more targeted healing - like keeping your skin clear, especially if you're like me and tend to go makeup free in the sunshine.
Also in my case would be these Liz Earle products - the Botanical Shine Shampoo and the Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion. The shampoo is full of ingredients that are really good for your hair and will wash out any sea-salt, leaving your hair smooth and shiny, making it a definite win for me. Also sneaking in here is a travel sized Cleanse & Polish - it's a part of my everyday skincare routine, this includes on holiday. And the Eyebright lotion is great for keeping the skin around my eyes feeling fresh after a long trip or a hot night's sleep. A tip for this one: if you have access to a fridge while on holiday, try storing it in there... it's so, so refreshing. Same tip applies to toner!
I've listed the three Liz Earle products below, and Liz Earle's full selection of travel sized products can be found here.
Not pictured but something I take with me on every holiday is Hawaiian Tropic Protective Dry Oil Spray SPF 20, £12.60 for 200ml available from Boots. Being 200ml, it's not something you can take in your hand luggage, so for that long weekend away I always have some little plastic containers to decant products into. The oil smells divine, and instantly makes me feel like I really am on holiday. I used this throughout my week in Tenerife last year, and not only did I not burn but I came home the most beautiful brown colour.

Of course though natural tanning can be damaging for the skin, so I would recommend trying a self-tanner if you want to get a tanned look! I personally use Bondi Sands and wrote a post about it a while ago...

    1. Wow, so jealous of Morocco! I would highly recommend the Liz Earle range, I use 4 or 5 products from there most days, and the Cleanse & Polish is a great one to start with. Hope you have an incredible holiday Dalal x
