Brush Crush: Zoeva

Follow

You'll definitely have seen these brushes lurking about in the peripherals of many a perfect looking flat-lay recently, and let's not kid ourselves - rose gold makeup brushes? - of course you'll have been drawn in by them.
And, so was I.
And, I'm in love with them.

It's not just the aesthetics of these brushes that make them so lovely (although I don't think I'll ever stop being over-excited about how they look) it's the whole ethos behind the brand, and the sheer quality of products they produce.

The brushes are handmade from wood, brass ferrules and a mixture of fine natural and synthetic hairs.
The quality and care taken in the creation of them really does show, as the handles are weighted for ease of use and the hairs are soft yet don't shed as you use them on your skin.

Another thing I can't get over with these brushes is the price. I've linked the two sets that I've purchased below with the prices, but just to break it down for you, the twenty brushes across the two sets average out at around £6 each.
That is phenomenal value for the professional quality you receive!
There's a cross-over of around 3 brushes in the two sets, but I love the fact I have spares and I'm interested in working out possible other uses for the brushes too.
ROSE GOLDEN Luxury Set Vol. 2, £55 from Zoeva
(there's a £7.50 UK flat shipping rate from the Zoeva website, but it was very quick delivery and reliable!)

There's such a huge range of brushes for the face & eyes in these sets, my personal favourite from the Rose Golden collection is the 109 Luxe Face Paint brush, it's a flat topped dense brush which is perfect for contouring cheekbones to perfection. Other amazing performers for me are the 325 Luxe Brow Light for applying highlighter/concealer under the brows, the 317 Wing Liner for a perfect eyeliner flick, and the 104 buffer which applies a flawless base.

I'll never say goodbye completely to my Real Techniques brushes, and the stippling brush will always have a place in my brush pot, but I'm not ashamed to say I have a full on brush crush on Zoeva.

Have you fallen for Zoeva? Or what are your go-to brushes?
Let me know xx
